What to expect: 

We could use your help planting, weeding, picking, building more raised beds and other gardening jobs. A representative from the food bank will be onsite to give instruction at every time slot. 

What do I need to bring? 

Depending on the weather, be prepared with sunscreen, hat, water etc. You will be working in the sun. Also, bring gardening gloves, wear boots or sneakers (no open-toe shoes or sandals) and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.

Rain: If it’s actively raining, we will cancel. We try to send out cancelation emails, but if it’s actively raining, you can assume we will not meet as the garden is100% outside.

Schedule Your Group or Company: We are happy to schedule a date and time for your community organization or company to volunteer! Email or call us to schedule.

Children: Children are allowed to volunteer if accompanied by a parent and if they can behave. We have the right to ask a parent and child to leave if the child is not behaving. Teens 16 and older are allowed to volunteer without a parent/guardian/chaperone.
